The Predators traveled to play what has become a new rival, and dedicated to the cause of avenging their 1-0 loss in the spring the boys rose to the challenge! The Predators stayed true to their game plan of tough defense, controlling the midfield and getting the ball wide to the wings, driving to goal and getting good crosses in the box. The boys came out shooting and testing the oppositions goalie early. In the 12th minute Andrew Albertelli was taken down in the penalty area and Deer Park was awarded a PK. Foster Abreu stepped calmly to the spot and without hesitation buried the ball in the back of the net. The boys did not let up. There second goal came off yet another corner kick from Sammy Ahmed to Mike Greene who has become lethal in the area after a ball is played in from the corner. Up 2-0 at the half the boys kept their foot on the gas and with their superior conditioning and skills passed the ball around the opposition creating chance after chance. Their third and final goal came from a ball taken from Jake Grover in the midfield and played into Andrew Albertelli who went to goal and finally was able to beat the keeper. Sammy Ahmed and Foster Abreu frustrated the defense with their foot skills and speed all game, and once again Matt Linden in the goal in conjunction with the defense (Alex Glancy, Chris Corio, Marcus LeGare, Thomas Girardi, and Ayden Caldea) denied any scoring chance and supported the offense!
