The Predators found themselves down early 1-0 after a defensive breakdown but continued to play solid direct soccer utilizing the strengths on the wings and getting good crosses in front of the goal. Unfortunately they were not able to capitalize. Matt Linden kept the score line at 1-0 going into the half after saving a penalty kick. The boys came out in the second half with the same intensity and in the 32nd minute Marcus Legare drew a foul attempting to play the ball back into the area from a corner kick opportunity. Chris Corio made a great shot on the ensuing direct kick, driving his shot from 30yds out and finding the back of the net just under the bar. The boys continued to drive the wings and in the 48th minute Foster Abrue broke through on the right wing beating his man and went to goal unopposed. The keeper made the initial save but the ball came right back to Foster and on the second chance he buried the ball in the side netting. The defense was able to protect the lead and the Predators closed the game out strong!!
